PGP Key Pair Generator

This page generates a key pair consisting of a private key and the corresponding public key.

You need a password to secure your private key. Please enter a password that must be at least 10 characters long.

If you now press the "generate key pair" button, the key pair will be generated and stored as a ZIP file in your download directory. The ZIP file contains the files xxx_PUBLIC.asc (public key) and xxx_SECRET.asc (private key).

Please have the HRZ store the public key in the "Beschäftigten Datenbank".

Please save the private key yourself so that you have it at hand for decrypting the thesis. Please save the password separately (e.g. in a password manager). If you lose the private key or the password, you will no longer have access to the encrypted thesis.
